Quore: Five Years and Growing

This October, we’re celebrating Quore’s fifth anniversary as a company. Turning five usually involves birthday cakes, a party, silly hats, and the start of a new chapter in life (kindergarten can be a hard adjustment- finger paints and nap time really take a toll). Quore’s fifth anniversary hits several of those marks.

We had our party hats and champagne handy while celebrating and reminiscing at Quore’s birthday party:

But we’re doing more than looking back, and we’re not content to sit on our laurels. We’ve got exciting changes coming up that we can’t wait to share.

Looking Back on the Last Five Years

Quore began as the brainchild of company founder Scott Schaedle. While working at the Franklin Marriott Courtyard Cool Springs, Scott searched for an easier way to manage hotel tasks and communication, particularly a way staff could utilize mobile devices. When he couldn’t find what he was looking for on the market, Scott set out to build it himself. He began teaching himself to code, focusing on Quore by day and working at the hotel by night, where he first tested the product.
Quore began as a work ticket system and grew to include more than 20 apps all housed in the same program, creating a cloud-based ecosystem that lets hotel staff manage everything from one place. By creating a single platform for all staff members, Quore encourages “muscle memory”, creating an intuitive user experience on the desktop and through the Quore Mobile app.

“I reached my first five-year goal in the first three months of Quore becoming a company,” said Scott. “That goal was for Quore to be purchased by a hotel management company.” As users moved to other hotels, the news about Quore spread. “Our focus has always been on making a high quality product that makes people’s lives easier. When you focus on that, growth follows.”

Where We Are Today

“I’m most proud of the fact that Quore is helping people do their jobs better and easier.”
— Scott Schaedle, Founder & CEO, Quore Systems LLC

Today, Quore is used by more than 50,000 users in 2,000+ hotels.

“I’m most proud of the fact that Quore is helping people do their jobs better and easier,” said Scott. “The first five years, we’ve been focused on developing a high quality domestic product. As we’ve grown, we’ve learned to stay focused on quality and scalability. Our number one concern is making sure every user has a great experience with Quore. If it doesn’t work for them, it doesn’t work for us.”

We’ve grown a lot in the last five years, but some things haven’t changed. We’re still a geeky, quirky group of people committed to helping hotels everywhere work smarter, not harder. And we’re still here any time you need us, 24/7.

Looking Toward the Future

As we set our sights towards the next five years and beyond, we’re working to help Quore users across the globe experience the same level of quality and usability, from our home base in Franklin, TN, to hotels as far away as Hong Kong.

We can’t reveal too much just yet, but we’ve got outstanding stuff in the works. Stay tuned! Follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter.
